Sorry to hear your story. I have one even worse, because the buyer of my cycle was only 16 years old. At an intersection with a collision with an other 16 Year old, driving a car, he lost his life Both were leaving the High School. It was a 650 Triumph that I sold, before leaving for the service. I really did not want to sell it , but did not expect my Father to store it until my discharge (I was 23) and I figured I could buy another when I returned. To make matters worse. I had to give a sales pitch to the kid's Mother; she was totaly against the purchase. She wanted the Dad's input or approval, but he was on travel. I said that I was leaving for boot camp and had to sell that day-- and that I had been a responsible owner driver and she should give her son the same credit that my parents gave me. When the kid's father returned home, he told the kid to get rid of the cycle. The story goes, that the son took it to school to show it to guy that said he could buy it. I was not home to witness the smashed mess of the bike, but my Father, coming from work did and stoped (recognizing it because it was a custom) and for awhile thought that it was me that got hit!
